Merced family kidnapped

Four individuals from a Merced family whose snatching was caught on reconnaissance video have been viewed as dead, specialists affirmed Wednesday night.

A farmworker called around 5:30 p.m. to report the bodies, Merced Province Sheriff Vern Warnke said. "This evening our most obviously terrible feelings of trepidation have been affirmed," Warnke said. "We found the four individuals from the seizing and they are as a matter of fact perished. … There's no words right now to depict the resentment I feel and the pointlessness of this occurrence. Suspect Jesus Manuel Salgado, 48, was captured Tuesday after he endeavored self destruction in the close by town of Atwater.

Warnke said Wednesday night that agents have spoken with Salgado however declined to give further subtleties on what the suspect said, refering to the continuous examination.

The's family members have been advised, the sheriff said, adding that representatives and other faculty would handle the scene short-term.

A rationale in the kidnappings and killings isn't yet known, Warnke said.
